Dough Art Creativity Workshops - 2012   NEW WORKSHOPS JUST ADDED
We all possess a creative spark!  Let yours glow a little brighter by learning to mold
whimsical figures from bread dough!

In each workshop you learn the basics of bread dough sculpture while creating a different
project.  Basics include mixing your clay from bread and glue, using simple shapes to create a
each figure, and finishing techniques to preserve your figure for generations to come.

Some workshops also include an elegant "Afternoon Tea" with tea sandwiches, scones,
indulgent desserts and a duo of teas.

Choose from the scheduled workshops or select one for your own group and schedule your

The workshops are held in my kitchen studio in Westerville, Ohio.  You will find it a place
where all are warmly welcomed to learn, laugh, linger and be inspired.

This is a wonderful beginning workshop.  
Bring a friend, mom, daughter, grandddaughter, niece or
just yourself to enjoy the day.  Children are welcome
ages 10 and up with an adult.

bring a smile to your face.

Description:
 If you could create anything that you wanted from
bread dough clay, what would you make?  I will do my best to bring
your vision to life.  Bring your own project ideas or recreate any of
my figures.  I will also be sharing new tips and resources.

*this workshop does not include "afternoon tea"  I will be serving a box lunch - come and be surprised!
Student"s Work
Tools:  All tools other than those listed below will be provided for you to use during class.  You will also
receive a complete finishing kit (polymer resin, brush, screen and container.)

Bring to class these basic tools found in your kitchen:
  • paring knife
  • rolling pin
  • pizza cutter
  • 6-12 inch ruler

be made payable to Trish Randal.  Because of the time required to prepare for each workshop and tea there
is a 7-day cancellation policy.  Regretfully, if your space cannot be filled refunds cannot be made.

Description:
 I will provide you with step-by-step guidance, beginning
with making the air-dried clay from a mixture of bread and glue, molding
the figure using simple ball, log and cone shapes and adding delicate paper wings for a finishing touch.
